About HortOS

HortOS is a free marketplace where the wholesale plant trade finds growers' current availability and prices and orders straight from the grower.

There is one site for each country, and this one covers growers that sell plants to the trade. Every price on it is the grower's own, shown ex VAT, and every order goes to that grower to confirm.

Growers: your list, your prices, your brand. Orders arrive in your own inbox. Nothing is resold, and no margin sits between you and your customer.

Trade buyers: landscapers, councils, designers and retailers. One search across every farm, a whole schedule priced at once, and the grower confirms stock and freight with you. Sign up with your Company number and order from any grower; there is nothing to subscribe to.

Listing, search and orders are free and stay free. There is no commission on plants and no paid ranking, so the order of a page is never for sale. Later there may be paid extras for growers who want them. The basics never become one.

HortOS is privately owned and self-funded by a small team. We keep the people out of it on purpose and let the growers' pages speak.

Every grower's page shows what that grower publishes. A grower controls their page: claim it, change it, hide any price, or ask for it to come down, and it happens.
